LEAP 24/25 - Leading Beyond Boundaries

Leo Club of University of Moratuwa successfully concluded its signature two-day leadership camp LEAP 24/25, conducted through four missions at four different schools. Designed to nurture leadership, teamwork and personal growth the program brought together Leos and school students in a transformative and empowering environment.

Each LEAP mission generally followed a structured two-day program. Participants were grouped into teams and engaged in a series of activities aimed at developing essential leadership competencies.

On the first day, the program typically included ice-breakers and team-building activities. The evening was often highlighted by a drama competition held under the magical glow of a campfire, which encouraged creativity, confidence and collaboration.

The second day usually began with an energizing physical training session, followed by a treasure hunt that challenged participants' strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. A hands-on cooking competition was also included in most missions offering students an opportunity to practice teamwork, time management and food presentation.

While this structure was common across all missions, certain activities were adapted based on the unique context and facilities of each school.

Each mission concluded with a prize-giving ceremony that recognized the participants' achievements and celebrated their growth.

LEAP 24/25 was more than just a camp. It was a meaningful and memorable experience. By combining experiential learning with engaging challenges, the program reflected the Leo club's dedication to empowering the next generation of young leaders.
